As each event is unique the choice of music will therefore be selected to suit the occasion and most clients have no real opinion as to the musical repertoire I select to play as they have confidence that it will be tastefully selected. Others on the other hand have specific tunes in mind and I will be delighted to accommodate their choices if the musical range of the pipes allows the tunes to be played. The musical range to the bagpipes are limited to one octave +1 additional note, hence many tunes can’t be played.
