The sadder duties of a professional piper is to play at funerals.
Today I played at North Berwick cemetery for the interment of a Scottish lady who I did not know. After learning about her life during a very personal service loving conducted by her daughter, I certainly then understood that this lady had led a full life and that she would certainly have been a person worth meeting. RIP.
